More Buta-Otome! And also an Ace Attorney reference… Like the last BUTAOTOME song I translated, the lyrics are dark. Basically, Benben and Yatsuhashi recount their birth, and how they have become killers in order to be useful. Whenever you see the phrase ‘do it,’ think ‘kill.’
As a side note, the second-last stanza is missing verbs and subjects, which makes it ambiguous. Since Japanese sentences are constructed using the Subject-Object-Verb order, that sort of stuff is quite common. It makes it hard to translate, though, since English follows the Subject-Verb-Object order, so I was a bit loose with the translation of that stanza.
