Translation

A saké cup drifts in the unfathomable darkness.
This flower-blooming banquet is secret.
Dance and sing, scarlet maidens! Walk together with shadows.

I gently close my eyes upon smelling the scent of the wind.
This empty world stirs. I turn away from the voices ringing in my ears.
Perhaps the pitch blackness would be illuminated
By a blade of love…

I yearned to exhaustion in the spreading dusk.
The things I lose will scatter for eternity.
Dreams and reality circulate like fish that have forgotten their colours.

A dull grey sky is burnt into a corner of my heart.
I looked up and saw the whispers of inerasable scars on their back.
Even if I will be engulfed by loneliness,
I will follow the sole justice I believed in.

The hero of the dark casts away the world and runs.
What rests in their blank eyes?
Having left behind the present and the past,
They walk together with a mysterious shadow.

Formless flames rest in my hand.
I stifle my breathing. There’s no way it’ll reach anyone.
I bear thoughts that I will someday surpass.
I’ll burn my heart to ashes!

These are the memories of many lights, which I have not yet seen.
Everything began with the wrath of space.
Revolve and scream, o red star! Fall together with my tears.

The hero of the dark casts away the world and runs.
What rests in their blank eyes?
Having left behind the present and the past,
They walk together with a mysterious shadow.

Tonight, the dark cup is full of moonlight.
The lights and human voices are swallowed up.
I’ll just be intoxicated during this scarlet banquet
And I’ll burn my body to ashes!

  1. There seems to be a minor error in the credits, Akira is actually credited with vocals while another persona named Kenji is credited with arrangement.

    1. All fixed! I feel like that’s been happening to me a lot lately >_> I normally just copy the info section from another album by the same circle, but I should probably blank all the fields first to be on the safe side…

    1. If Suika’s the hero(ine), I guess she could be part of the maiden crew at the start. Maybe the first and last sections are set in the present and everything else is set in the past…

I didn’t quite understand who the ‘shadows’ were, but maybe the shadows represent the past itself? In that case, maybe the ‘heroes’ in the middle refer to all of the ‘Scarlet Maidens’ at the party… There’s just so many possible ways of reading this, and the more I think about it the more complex it becomes
