Translation

Though years pass, my memories do not fade. The roots of hatred are like love…
I can only balance out my lost child’s soul with a departed soul.
I continue to spin my plan so I can kill them.
O arrogant companion, crowned by the heavenly shrine! Are you watching?

The more I want to kill you, the more I want to destroy you,
The more dark feelings scorch my heart.

O, one who I hate, truly hate!
Know my fury though your body!

Even if you became like a frog and you atoned for your sins, (1)
You would not obtain my forgiveness. I have lost my benevolence, which withered away long ago.
With the gunpowder of Hourai, which I stole from the famous Omoikane, (2)
I shall burn your polluted guts to ashes…

The more I want to shoot you down, the more I want to defeat you,
The more strong feelings stir me up.

O, hideous, truly hideous being!
In that inhuman body, harbour regrets and die!

The wicked kitsune just screams with fury.
My murderous impulses, purified to their extreme,
Overwrite my ‘purpose’ and ‘methods.’
Before I knew it, I had become a monstrosity, living with hatred as my sustenance.
I’m in a laughable state. Chang’e, are you watching me?

Translator’s notes

(1) This line could be a reference to the Buddhist tale of the frog who, upon going to listen to Buddha’s teachings, was killed by a cowherd and reborn as a god. Read more about this story here.

(2) Omoikane (思兼神) is a reference to Eirin Yagokoro.

    Hello.
    Thank you for your translation.
    —-
    > Is the only one who will bury the lost child’s soul the siren of equivalence?
I translate it to “It shall be only with a departed soul that I can even off the lost child’s.”; An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
I think here “埋める” mean “even off”, “make up”, “compensate” or something like that.
As for “か” at the end, I suppose it is used in the same way as below.
    [URL] https://ja.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E3%81%8B
    —-
    > Even if your became like a frog and you atoned for your sins, (1)
“your became” should be a mistake.

That first part makes so much more sense than what I had before! Thank you for pointing that out 🙂 I guess 喪われし子 is Junko’s child…?

I don’t know about Junko’s origin at all. The article below refers to the death of Junko’s child and her avenge.
