雲間に覗く光が　差し込む窓に残した
小粒に与えたハイライトが優しく浮かぶ

kumoma ni nozoku hikari ga sashikomu mado ni nokoshita
kotsubu ni ataeta hairaito ga yasashiku ukabu

Sunshine, peeping through the clouds, stayed shining through my window.
The highlights it gave the raindrops floated gently.

軒下空へと向けて吊るしたてるてる坊主
いつもと同じな笑顔がどこか違う様に

itsumo to onaji na egao ga doko ka chigau you ni

I hung a teru teru bozu under the eaves facing the sky.
Its smile, the same as always, seemed somewhat different.

ゆらゆら揺れていた濡れた土の上で踊りだす足あと

yurayura yurete ita nureta tsuchi no ue de odoridasu ashiato

Swaying back and forth… The footprints of people dancing were left on the damp soil.

偶に或るこんな日も　ステップで踏み出した青空
雲もなく晴れた日は　はなうたが流れだすステキな日かな

tama ni aru konna hi mo suteppu de fumidashita aozora
kumo mo naku hareta hi wa hanauta ga nagare dasu suteki na hi ka na

Some days can be like this, too. I stepped forth beneath the blue sky.
The day is clear and cloudless. I start humming. It’s such a splendid day.

水面みなもに浮かんだ木の葉　昨日の雨が残した
草木の臭いは何故かいつも懐かしい顔

minamo ni ukanda konoha kinou no ame ga nokoshita
kusaki no nioi wa nazeka itsumo natsukashii kao

Leaves floated on the water’s surface, left behind by yesterday’s rain.
The smell of plants always makes me nostalgic for some reason.

辺りを照らした日から聞かれたはなうたの事
いつもと違うと沸き立つ心抑えないよ

atari o terashita hi kara kikareta hanauta no koto
itsumo to chigau to wakitatsu kokoro osaenai yo

Humming was heard from the sunlight illuminating the surroundings.
I can’t hold back my heart. I’m more excited than usual.
