Album: Phantom [Official site]
Circle: Sound01
Event: Reitaisai 7 [RTS7]
Original theme: Shanghai Alice of Meiji 17 [

I feel like this song is a dialogue between the sun (Meiling) and the moon (any other member of the SDM), but it’s quite open to interpretation!

Translation

Every day, the morning sun
Shines, flooding down.
It continues to the ends of the Earth…

“Good morning!” They smiled.
Today, too, they set off.
“Goodbye!” They wave their hands.
I gazed upon the humans, and cried.

Can you see the same landscape
From here, too?
The two are always unchanging,
Cut off by this gate.

Only the moonlit night’s door is opened.
I remember kindness,
And the strength of protecting a world in which all are afraid.

Without being able to see the finish line
In the distance,
I leave behind a single fragment,
So small it could fit in my hands.

The landscapes we can see from here
Are the same,
And we see the expressionless sacrifices
Through all ages, forever.

I pray that someday,
When my weaknesses become courage,
I will know what is truly important to me.

If my dream is granted,
Or if my future is made by someone else,
Then I will travel somewhere different – somewhere over the rainbow.

  1. Well this is Efs(partially) right? I always looking for lyrics of 巡雨 or 古街巡りて.

I wonder if the booklet even has them now…
