I decided to seek permission from the artists whose lyrics I translate. I want to seek permission to:
a) Translate their lyrics.
b) Post the original lyrics (+ romanisation) alongside translations.
As I hear back from more circles, I’ll add them to this list. The list below will serve as a guide as to which circles I’ve contacted, and their responses. I want to stress that I’m not asking any other translator to obey this, unless they want to. It’s for my own use, and I’d also like you to keep this list in mind when making requests in the future.
