I almost went with ‘Ghost Straight’, but then I realised that the word used in the title, ストレイト (sutoreito) is actually different to ストレート (sutoreeto). The second corresponds to ‘straight’, so it makes sense for the first to correspond to the nautical ‘strait.’

Translation

Nobody’s in the classroom today. It’s Tuesday but they’re not here.
What a loss. I want to head home but I’m hesitating.

The first least common denominators were the same numbers and lovers.
During the final misfortunate calamity, miracles cling like evil spirits. (1)

I chatted with you then you left.
You told impossible lies then went translucent.

You’re a ghost, a ghost.
You vanished, and it serves you right.
I hate you. You’re like a mine in the ocean now,
giving me nothing but lies and explosions.

In the strait, in the strait,
in a street that’s grown so narrow,
you were floating. Who were you?
I’m agitated so I can’t see.

I saw your dark face in the ocean.
You were crying for some reason, though it’s too late now.

I didn’t know why, and it really irritated me.
“Drop dead!” I said. I was translucent.

I’m a ghost, a ghost.
I forgot all about my sadness.
I regret it. Ah, in your eyes
I’m just an evil spirit now.

And so I chant a straight, straight,
straight curse.
That’s what I said. Who was it?
Yeah, who was it?

“It doesn’t matter who.” Do you even have legs?
I went to the place from my memories since I had a dream of you, a happy dream.

You’re a ghost, a ghost.
You vanished, and it serves you right.
I hate you. You’re like a mine in the ocean now,
giving me nothing but lies and explosions.

I’m a ghost, a ghost as well.
I forgot all about my sadness.
I regret it. Ah, in your eyes
I’m just an evil spirit now.

I’m in the strait, in the strait,
in a street that’s grown so narrow…
Straight, straight.
I hope I can be straight with myself one day.

Translator’s note

(1) The phrase used here is similar to 人生に事故はつきもの (jinsei ni jiko wa tsukimono, accidents happen), except it specifically uses 憑き物 (tsukimono, evil spirit) rather than the neutral つきもの, which implies 付き物 (tsukimono, something that accompanies something else).
