I think the ‘Does’ in the title is actually a plural form of the surname ‘Doe’, since both John and Jane Doe appear in the song.

Translation

Things felt a bit different
but I’ve been kinda hectic lately
so I’ve found myself
craving more and more sleep.

With a fatigued un, deux, trois
I won’t get any closer to the flying sheep.
Beyond my shallow dream
I was swaying, lucid.

Hey John Doe,
come to think of it, it smells like spring
so shall we go? After all
you happened to be there when I turned around.

Hey Jane Doe,
it’s like the other night’s party never happened
and yet it smelt so good. After all
you were there when I looked ahead.

Things felt a bit different
but I was looking around casually
and that person calmly started dancing
on the veranda.

I was forced to wear pointe shoes
but I threw them two or three metres away.
A pleasant sunset cruise has arrived
to get us drunk.

Hey John Doe,
it’s like you’ve fallen right under this shifting city.
Do you believe it? After all
you happened to be there when I looked around.

Hey Jane Doe,
it’s like your frustration up until now never existed.
That’s the end of that. After all
you were there in that witty story.

You and I certainly believed
in a certain uncertainty.
If you’re the same as me
then that will become our certainty.

I must have been drunk
to think that we could talk about things
like boring games of high and low
and whether love is like this or that.

Hey John Doe,
come to think of it, it smells like spring
so shall we go? After all
you happened to be there when I turned around.

Hey Jane Doe,
it’s like last night’s party never happened
and yet it smelt so good. After all
you were there when I looked ahead.

Hey John Doe,
it’s like you’ve fallen right under this shifting city.
Do you believe it? After all
you happened to be there when I looked around.

Hey Jane Doe,
it’s like your frustration up until now never existed.
That’s the end of that. After all
you were there in that witty story.
