I didn’t realise it before, but Asahi’s latest Halozy tracks are named after things from pop culture – how awesome! This one’s named after a movie, and the other track, 砂のこども, is named after a novel called ‘The Sand Child.’

Anyway, if you’re interested in Asahi’s arrangements and emaru’s vocals, I urge you to check out their group, ‘macaroom’! They’ve released two original albums so far, and I love them both. Check them out on Bandcamp!

Translation

This world is frightening, so frightening.
I pretend. I pretend not to see you.
I wait. I await my destiny…
I want to take advantage of it!

What am I thinking of
At the bus stop next to the charming op shop
In the rain?

Form a circle – join the dots and form a circle!
Aah… your voice is so beautiful.

The people who sleep in front of the station, and those who don’t,
All make for entrepreneurs when they see them.
I don’t want to hate, I don’t want to hate
My half-broken fate.

Putting in order the cashmere goods on sale…
Lining up the bargain umbrellas, too…
Who am I waiting for?

Form a circle – join the dots and form a circle!
Aah… your voice is so beautiful.

What am I thinking of
At the bus stop next to the charming op shop
In the rain?

Form a circle – join the dots and form a circle!
Aah… your voice is so beautiful.

The dot and line drawing becomes a circle. The dot and line drawing becomes a circle.
The dot and line drawing becomes a circle. A circle. A circle.
The dot and line drawing becomes a circle. The dot and line drawing becomes a circle.
The dot and line drawing becomes a circle. A circle. A circle.
