This track is quite inspirational! I feel like the main message behind it is to throw your inhibitions away and just try to do positive things, even if you fail.

Translation

Diamonds are scattered about in all directions.
Who’s putting on airs?
That one over there? How about this one?
It’s nothing to do with me, but it’s on my mind.

Lalalala… 10,000 feet up the Alps
Atop Mt. Koyari, the pride of Japan. (1)
Everyone’s after it. Next time, for sure…
“Simple is best!”

Now, now, now…!

Sing louder and louder!
Dance livelier and livelier!
Draw more and more!
Worry more and more!
Try more and more!
Fall more and more!
Get even more embarrassed!
Be laughed at even more!

Always on the go! How’s the state of things?
I’m a no-hoper, on active duty. (2)
I wrack my brain and tilt my head to the side.
I simply do everything I can.

Lalalala… The material shines.
The culture festival continues for eternity.
Misunderstandings are grazes upon youth.
Now advance, youngsters!

Now, now, now…!

Sing louder and louder!
Dance livelier and livelier!
Draw more and more!
Worry more and more!

Lalalala… 10,000 feet up the Alps
Atop Mt. Koyari, the pride of Japan
The sun rises and then sets.
“Simple is best!”
“Jumbled up is bad!”

Once more!

Sing louder and louder!
Dance livelier and livelier!
Draw more and more!
Worry more and more!
Try it more and more!
Fall more and more!
Get even more embarrassed!
Be laughed at even more!
More and more and more… let’s go!

With poor voices, with slow bodies,
And with clumsy hands… let’s make something!
While yawning, I whittled away at it, bit by bit.
Your fragments are diamonds.

La la la, la la la…
Eternal radiance.
La la la, la la la…
Your fragments are… your fragments are
Diamonds.

Translator’s notes

(1) These two lines are a reference to the traditional Japanese song アルプス一万尺 (10,000 Feet Up in the Alps). For more information and an English translation, consult this site.

(2) The original lyrics use the term ノーフューチャー (noo fyuuchaa), literally ‘no future.’ ‘No-hoper’ was chosen as a translation to avoid the stilted phrase “I’m a no future.”
