The word used for hell here (黄泉, yomi) is neither paradise or firey hell – it’s just a place where you carry out a kind of gloomy existence as a spirit forever. That’s a massive oversimplification, so please visit this resource if you’d like to learn more about the different Japanese hells.
Also 月夜がめくれて in the first stanza gives me a really weird mental image. I was looking at some examples of ‘が めくれて’, and they were mostly linked to things sticking up (like a collar). I went a bit further and got ‘peeled off’ – but something like ‘flicking through (e.g. the pages of a book)’ could be more appropriate.
Somebody on the Internet noted that this song depicts the world of ‘death’ in a humourous fashion, which is very much like Kikuo. This possibly explains things like “Hell’s Inn” and “the neck pillow of Paradise and Heaven.”

Translation
This is where soldiers tired of fighting take a seat
then rest and vanish.
The clouds have descended. All is hidden in fog.
Look—the moonlit nights have been peeled off across two hundred million years…
Come, o rabbit that was pursued!
Come at least once to the Star Inn.
The entrance is just down the corner.
A hot spring is gushing from the moon,
so descend until you can’t go back.
This is the inn dreamed of by all creation and humanity.
Welcome—come to Hell’s Inn.
Let’s wear a newborn’s clothes at 2am.
So warm, so tender…
Ah… Sad beings are all gathering.
Look—Here’s the neck pillow of Paradise and Heaven.
I’m making the southern flower garden bloom.
Now, I’ll adorn it with rain and dew formed from tears.
Hell’s hole holds a thousand people.
The realm of the dead swallows up ten thousand people.
See how quiet it is? Still, it’s sorrowful
but it’s not that painful.
An air hole gapes in my heart.
Whether asleep or awake, the southern travellers
blow flutes made from pulled-out sacred trees.
They will play their music forever more.
This is the path laid out in the secret treasure map.
I’ll tell only you about the Dream Inn.
Buoyant in a dream, you do not doubt even a little.
You lay sound asleep for two hundred million years…
This is the inn dreamed of by all creation and humanity.
Welcome—come to Hell’s Inn.
You’ve probably arrived nearby.
It’s a lonely place, but not so painful.
Ah… Sad beings are all gathering.
Look—Here’s the neck pillow of Paradise and Heaven.
A written invitation requests tears.
I can deliver it at any time. I’m prepared.
