逆さまの影を落として悦に入る
汚い猫には近づいちゃいけない
首の縄文を愛してくれる
彼岸会（ひがんえ）また影を見る

砂天井見つめ寝ぼけ眼（まなこ） うたた寝 私は涎まみれ
読んでる途中の怪談と 窓は濡れ酸性雨（さんせいあめ）

揺れ頭押さえベランダに 枯れ木に水やれ錆び如雨露（じょうろ）
ぐっしょりと濡れた袖口と 右の手咥えたコケ坊主

見下ろした現実 僕の夢の中が外にあって
頬をつまんで 口は「また夢を見た…」

雨垂れの菱形に追いつかれた
散らばる人達の影だけ消えない
白色の光が指差した
人の頭にヤマイダレ

群がる影人（えいと）に応えてはいけない
犬も歩けば殺される僕は
現実またねまたねって

Translation

I lie down, doze, and dream again.

A Jizo with a droopy moustache dozes on a road of red lanterns approaching the shrine.
I hopscotch up a staircase populated with stalls and hard candy.

The girl held a cloth sack and steadfastly advanced down an animal trail.
When she passes under the old torii,
somebody’s grave is standing right there.

Before the soul and body I drag along rot away,
I had a dream again, like always.

She carried on without worrying about the rain and broke apart.
I’ve got to collect the pieces of her scatted around.
Once I swallow her red fragments,
I’ll be together as one with her.

Dropping an inverted shadow, I gloat.
I mustn’t draw closer to the dirty cat.
You love the straw-rope pattern on my neck.
During Higan’e, I see shadows again.

I look at my sand ceiling with half-asleep eyes. I doze, covered in drool.
I was in the middle of reading a ghost story. Acid rain smears my window.

On the veranda, I hold my shaking head. I water the dead trees with a rusty watering can.
My sleeve was drenched along with the moss pillar held in my right hand.

I looked down upon reality and the interior of my dream was outside.
I pinch my cheek and words are upon my lips “I’ve had another dream…”

I was chased down by a rhombus of raindrops.
Only the shadows of people scatted about don’t fade away.
White light pointed
at the radical for illness resting on human heads.

My feet are seized by the jealous ground.
One mustn’t respond to the swarming shadowy figures.
I, who would be killed if I walked my dog,
bid farewell to reality. Goodbye!

If only things could end
while they’re still fun.
I open my eyes and continue with my daily life.
My overlooking eyes look at the sky.
