I’ve seen the title ‘wander in a hazy moon’ associated with this song. I couldn’t find any signs of whether or not it’s official though…

The title itself uses a similar patter to 迷い人 (mayoibito – lost person), so I arrived at ‘Lost Moon’ by interpreting the title as 迷い月.

Translation

Lights—one
flicker—two
They float in the darkness and light my path.

I hung my head
just wanting to go home.
Your kind hands comforted me.

The music born from you
is like a heartbeat. Can you hear it?

Who is calling me
from beyond the deepening mist?
Though I stretch out my trembling fingers
only the cold night is there.

The faint sounds of an angel’s wings
were coming from near my clear, cold window.
You wrapped up my unease
which spread out liquid-like.

A person gone astray—one
A searcher—two
They stood still in the shadows of the rose leaves.

I fall as if ascending
the helix that continues from beneath the moon.

It turns and turns, peacefully.
Destiny rides on this ring.
It leaves behind memories
from I, who will never arrive.

Why is my heart trembling?
Why do I cry?
Why is it that I miss you so—
you, who are so strong.

Illuminated
by the moonlight,
I was swept away.
Am I here?

The end of the pages I flipped on the staircase
is cut short.

Warmth faintly passes
between our joined fingers.
It’s so you will always tell me
that I’m not alone.

It turns and turns, peacefully.
I drift in warm sleep.
Someday, I want to walk with you
in the brilliant rays of the sun.

You’re welcome! It’s a great song (^_^) As for the plot, I think it’s about someone who has lost the person they love. You see some hints of this in the lyrics: “Though I stretch out my trembling fingers / only the cold night is there.” “Why is it that I miss you so” “Someday, I want to walk with you”

The person they lost must have meant a lot to them 😦
