3 seconds

ねえ feel all your senseで等身大になって

Translation

Realistically speaking, the problem is that lately
the trends have been so depressingly serious
yet you suddenly burst out all too often
with jokes that make no sense.

I thought my compensation for this systematic day
would be to spend my time playing dead.
And yet, you had such boring things to say.
I counted to three and it didn’t matter anymore.

I flung up my sneakers
and they made a parabola in the air.
Now’s the time for me to awaken
my sleeping talents.

Hey, things are true to life when you feel all your senses.
I express my psychedelic magic eccentrically.
I want to follow my inquiring mind
and find an ecosystem.

Green days. Where in the human body
are emotions born?
Let’s go somewhere else instead, to the furthest reaches
that aren’t on any map. Come on!

A great mind once said that reality
always surpasses the formulas containing it.1
Basically, there’s no such thing as a future
where everything goes according to plan.

I walked down a back alley that felt like travelling through time
and I pointed at a strange poster.
How weird is that. I feel like a traveller
who’s pinned down an unexplored truth.

The tune sounds dissonant.
Is that okay?
I can’t overlook
even the slightest distance.

I want to become the Creator of a brand new world
and scrap you from the human encyclopedia.
I want things to be simple and clear, just as we are,
though I’m a bit scared of touching.

Our XY chromosomes mark our true nature
and though our true forms are distant
I’d rather we do what we want
with our privilege of being incomplete. Come on!

After all, we came across each other somehow
like this, on this limited planet.
The world we see before us
is so small, yet so large.

Green days. Where in the human body
are emotions born?
Let’s go somewhere else instead, to the furthest reaches
that aren’t on any map. Come on!
