Translation

My umbrella stops the rain
As it spills from the cloudy sky.
Without thinking, I smile.
Suddenly, I kick up a puddle.

I look over my shoulder and race to you.
I take your hand, and you say:
“I’ll be good if it rains tomorrow, too.”
My heart was snatched away by your cheerful smile.

We walked together,
Following the rhythm of the raindrops
Beating against my umbrella.
“I want it to rain again tomorrow…”
Whilst playing around,
I tried to pray to the sky.

I look down on the frogs by the road.
I look over my shoulder, and race to you.
I pick one of them up, and you say:
“You like the rain as well, don’t you?”
