Update (23 October 2016): Small update, changing the title + removing オオオオ to fit in with the booklet.
So, the title of this song appears to be based on a novel of the same name. Set in Morocco, it’s about a father who disguises his daughter as a boy so she can have the rights and privileges that come along with it. This song has nothing to do with the novel, though. It’s about gardening instead.
It brings a lot of really strong images to mind, though. I can see it taking place in a desert – the speaker tries their hardest to raise a vegetable, and they form such an emotional connection to it that they are reluctant to sell it in the end. It’s like their ‘Sand Child.’
