‘Étoile’ is French for ‘star.’ Since this song is probably about Alice, I’d say that the ‘bodies’ are actually dolls.

fake dancing

Translation

The snow falls and lies thick.
I turn on the swaying white light.
“10.” I count my breaths, as I wait for them to reach you
With a raspy voice.

Linking,
Unlinking.
Carrying something on my shoulder,
We became separated.
Tying,
Untying.
I tire of filling in the gaps. Echoes…

Now, I am fake plastic.
I’m fake dancing,
Dancing alone upon this stage.

I stitched up and stopped that tainted body.
Like this, I lose sight of it, without a sound.
Even the questions at the tip of my tongue,
Which my broken heart tore up,
Simply begin to vanish.

I silently blink.
I hug that torn body close.
Aah… hide me, drastic rain.
Because like this, I will fade away.
