I mentioned it before, but I really love this album. I also really love Futoumeido’s lyrics.
As a side note, if you translate the title word for word, you get ‘Elopement, Time Escape.’ I decided to combine the two to get ‘Eloping from Time.’ It feels like an equivalent expression, and it seems as though the first section (elopement) is describing the second (time escape).
‘Elope’ is such a romantic word…

Translation
A tear in the fabric of normality opened up,
A tear that lay undetected by the ordinary people
Who passed by, without thinking that mysterious things are mysterious.
Yes, and from the depths of the boundary line…
Something gushed out,
And now, it’s right there, close by.
Now, let’s settle things!
Tricks are just a garnish.
The more complicated things are, the easier they are.
Unaware of such a simple trap,
Everyone falls down into the deep maze…
How sad. The moment they doze off
Is an eternity, and its opposite…
Clad in the smell of corpses,
The ghastly testifiers are invited and gather together.
One by one, the actors depart from the stage of life.
Come, it’s your turn!
Where does the hidden star lie?
There’s only a little time left now…
Now, let’s make a guess!
Locked rooms aren’t a problem at all.
They’re just the mechanisms of a romantic play!
Everybody fears transparent insanity,
Though they must know that it’s a useless struggle…
Tricks are just a garnish.
The more complicated things are, the easier they are.
Unaware of such a simple trap,
Everyone falls down into the deep maze…
They won’t return.
The wheel of death and rebirth tumbles around, lost in a cage.
The twisted needle points at
The logic of the trick.
Ah, even from the start
Both tricks and madness were meaningless.
The spring of the broken clock winds back.
Without being aware of such a simple trap,
They continue to think the same thoughts in vain…
Yes, the assistant was the perpetrator, and the detective was the victim:
Such is the paradox, born from an ironic truth.
You, too, are trapped by assumptions
And now, you fall to the depths of the maze.
