Dreamy Noise

(Yuu Kanade)
Lyrics: AO
Arranged by: Coro
Album: STILLING [Official site]
Circle: 魂音泉 (TAMAONSEN)
Event: C91
Original theme: Dream Land

This is the first time I’ve heard Yuu Kanade’s voice, and she sounds great! She kind of reminds me a bit of Paprika…

Anyway, like usual, TAMAONSEN’s lyrics are tough to translate, but I feel like I’m gradually getting the hang of them. This particular song seems to be about someone trying (and failing) to get to sleep.

Lalala…

Dreaming…
All Night Long 脆弱な魔法
(What Ever, Just Another Day)
Hear My Voice 呪いは Zzz…
No Words
Noisy Radio
Noisy Radio
Have a Nice…)
Have a Nice, Have a Nice Dream

What Should I Do?

Translation

I found some fine clothes mixed in with the static.
They were an illusory fortune.

Tones topped up the transparent photograph in the gloomy room.
The bowed keyboard gently beckons to me, as if it’s awake. It invites me to the other side.

I’m charmed with thick poison, which makes me feel so sleepy
It’s as if Laliho has been cast upon me. Motion… (1)
Twinkling emotions. If I feel a little listless, lalala…
Tonight, I’m in slow motion. I feel the symptoms of a nameless disease.
I’m scared of silent rooms. As if clinging to it, I turn the light switch on.

Illusory vibrations seem to tickle my ears
And solfeggio frequencies seem to embrace my eardrums.
The pleasant, indistinct sound waves were like a whisper.
I control them, like always.

I close my eyes, and I’m vaguely dreaming…
All night long. This spell is just so weak.
(Whatever, it’s just another day.)
Hear my voice—my spell goes like this: “Zzz…”
There’s no words, just a strained breath.
(The crazy dream seems frozen, a division)
This trance-like stereo’s the threshold’s noisy radio.
(Hey, where am I, anyway? I just want to build an image from beautiful sounds…)
This trance-like stereo’s the threshold’s noisy radio.
(Hidden in the static, I live a lo-fi life. Have a nice…)
Have a nice, have a nice dream.

A dazzling, cloudy dawn is coming, so I’ll protect the night with a sealed room.
Shade. A warm candle. A sudden encore. This is a love song dedicated to dreams.
With my head on a fluffy pillow, I shut my eyes. But afterwards, what should I do?
When I doze off, wrapped in my large blanket, we can meet again…
But I just want to part from reality for a moment. I don’t like days when my heart isn’t clear.
I’m a monster existing in their own space. I cast a spell to stop time.
My dear space stretches into infinity. Please, don’t just say vague things…
My senses were deceived, but if I just shake myself around, they’ll reset.

My glass is abuzz with something like sweet, sparkling water.
Like having my hair brushed, I comb out my love.
I try hypnotism, relaxation, a massage, and medicine
But those goodnight signs won’t come if you force them…

(Laliho) is a reference to the sleep spell found in the Dragon Quest video game series.

To be honest her voice reminds me so much of Bonjour Suzuki like in Pipo Password. Sounds a bit like daoko as well but not completly. :d
