I left the text in other languages untranslated – if anyone out there could assist in translating that text, I’d greatly appreciate it!

On an unrelated note, that sentence about panda bait was really odd.

黒い金とギャンブルにまみれた
夜の都エンカンターダ
カジノアヘン石油王の指輪
嘘に交尾全てが許されるこのオアシス
夢に満ちた死人達

kuroi kane to gyanburu ni mamireta
yoru no miyako enkantaada
kajino ahen sekiyuou no yubiwa
uso ni koubi subete ga, yurusareru kono oashisu
yume ni michita shibito tachi

Covered in black money and gambling,
this is Encantada, the night metropolis.
Casinos, opium, and an oil magnate’s ring.
Lies and even sex—everything’s allowed in this oasis.
The corpses are full of dreams.

煙巻いてる 闇の支配者は
無類の女好きだと
イングラム ピル トカレフ
孤児の詩

kemuri maiteru yami no shihaisha wa
murui no onna zuki dato
inguramu, piru, tokarefu
koji no uta

They say the rulers of the dark, cloaked in smoke,
are peerless womanisers.
Ingram, pills, Tokarev.
(1)
This is an orphan’s song.

ばら売り少女の花言葉は
「明日天気になぁれ」
パンダの餌は腹下ピンインぶら下げて
異常なアルビノ性欲表現
ばらばらにされた君と
朝には無くなる楽園の香り
夢の街

bara uri shoujo no hanakotoba wa

pa pa panda no esa wa harashita pinyin burasagete
ijou na arubino, seiyoku hyougen
barabara ni sareta kimi to
asa ni wa nakunaru rakuen no kaori
yume no machi

The rose-selling girl’s floriography says:
“May tomorrow be fair.”
Panda bait is in the stomach. Pinyin hangs suspended.
People express their lust for uncommon albinos.
I’m with you, scattered in pieces,
and surrounded by the fragrance of paradise, which will vanish by morning.
This is the city of dreams.

ガンジャ アヘン 孤独な栽培者
飴と鞭で働く
汚されたこのオアシス
嘘に満ちた聖女達

ganja, ahen kodoku na saibaisha
ame to muchi de hataraku
kegasareta kono oashisu
uso ni michita seijo tachi

Solitary cultivators grow marijuana and opium.
Carrot and stick is their work policy.
In this contaminated oasis
are holy women who are full of lies.

薬撒いてる裏の支配者は
騙すことが得意だと
ドラグノフ 鉈 ギロチン
晒し首

kusuri maiteru ura no shihaisha wa
damasu koto ga tokui da to
doragunofu nata girochin

They say the rulers in the shadows, spreading their medicines,
are good at deception.
Dragunov, hatchet, guillotine.
(3)
The beheaded head is on display.

人間バクテーおいしいでしょ?
証拠も残らぬ味は
猿の脳みそを啜る肥えたボンボンご主人様
異常な世界と性欲体現
ばらばらにされた君は
朧火掲げて 私を見守る あと少し

sa sa saru no noumiso o susuru koeta bonbon goshujin sama
ijou na sekai to seiyoku taigen
barabara ni sareta kimi wa
oborohi kakagete watashi o mimamoru ato sukoshi

Human bak kut teh is tasty, right?
The taste, leaving no evidence behind,
is of a common master, grown fat from sipping on monkey brains.
This is the embodiment of lust and this uncommon world.
You, scattered in pieces,
raise the dim flame and watch over me. Just a little longer…

rikaon no esa wa anata to watashi no futari dake
ijou na arubino, seiyoku hyougen
barabara ni sare ta kimi to
asa ni wa nakunaru rakuen no kaori
yume no machi

The rose-coloured girl’s floriography says:
“Please forgive me.”
The lycaon bait is you and I together, alone.
People express their lust for uncommon albinos.
I’m with you, scattered in pieces,
and surrounded by the fragrance of paradise, which will vanish by morning.
This is the city of dreams.

(1) イングラム (inguramu) possibly refers to the Ingram Model 10, a type of gun. トカレフ (tokarefu) may be referring to another gun, the Tokarev TT-33.
(2) This sentence uses 詩 instead of 唄 to indicate uta (song). The first commonly means ‘poem’ rather than ‘song’.
(3) ドラグノフ (doragunofu) may be referring to the Dragunov sniper rifle.

Finally this song gets translated, that’s great 😀 I translated this song about a year ago but never published the translation since I’m still learning the language; there’s a couple of parts that I have questions about that I think could be a good learning experience but it may result in a very, very long comment, is it alright if I post it?

Also, just a few small things that may (or may not?) help: While working on it I DM’ed Masa on his Twitter asking about the meaning of ボンボン and he said the word is used to refer to a spoiled child. In the remade video, a few of the written lyrics where altered slightly; when it gets to the line regarding panda bait, the word ピンイン was replaced with 人間. Another small change in the same video is that the ‘anata’ in the lycaon line is changed to the female version 貴女.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it. It’s great to hear from people like you with more information on the context behind the song since that leads to better translations! I’ll look at your comment alongside the song over the weekend and make some revisions or add some notes (^_^)

Also, feel free to ask any questions – I’m happy to answer and make any further updates to the translation that need to be made…!
