akai rengoku chi o terashita
honoo sekai o terasu
soto no sekai ni afureru mono
shiritaku wa nai

Purgatory’s red flames illuminated the ground.
The blaze illuminates the world.
I don’t want to know
about the things flooding into the outside world.

kami ga kimeta ruuru sore nara
fubyoudou ni naku wa warera ka
kyomu o aise tami yo nageki wa
itsuwari tsudzuke shinjitsu e kaero

God has decided on these rules. If so
are we the ones weeping over inequality?
Love nothingness. O people! This is your grief.
Keep lying, and in doing so turn it to truth.

yugande iru keshiki wa hora
mawaru mawaru kirei da ne
kodoku no yami wa jikan o tometa
(kiseki motome kimi wa ima jikan o tometa)

See? The twisted landscape
is turning round and round. How pretty.
The darkness of isolation stopped time.
(Seeking a miracle, you stopped time.)

utsuro na koe hiza o kakae
sono shisen wa sora o shiru
“nani mo iranai” sono me o tojita
(subete wa uso kidzuite yo sono me o tojita)

With a hollow voice, and arms around their knees,
their gaze knew the sky.
“I don’t need anything.” They closed their eyes.
(All is lies. Notice it! They closed their eyes.)

yureru meguru kiete yuku
tojita hitomi namida nagare iku

Swaying, revolving, and fading away.
Tears flow from my closed eyes.

kurai sekai de asu o shinjite
sono inori wa itsuka
yume mita “sora” e

I believed in tomorrow in a dark world.
Someday, those prayers will travel
to the ‘sky’ I dreamed of.

akai rengoku chi o terashita
sore o hikari to yonda
soto no sekai ni afureru mono
shiritaku wa nai

Purgatory’s red flames illuminated the ground.
I called it ‘light.’
I don’t want to know
about the things flooding into the outside world.

kami ga kimeta ruuru sore nara
(sora no hikari chitei o sasu)
fubyoudou ni naku wa warera ka
(kibou to iu doku ni okasare)
kyomu o aise tami yo nageki wa
(mujun o sutekirezu tsumugu)
itsuwari tsudzuke shinjitsu e kaero
(akirame to iu na no zetsubou)

God has decided on these rules. If so
(The sky’s light shines on the earth’s depths.)
are we the ones weeping over inequality?
(I am violated by the poison of hope.)
Love nothingness. O people! This is your grief.
(I speak, unable to fully cast aside contradictions.)
Keep lying, and in doing so turn it to truth.
(I speak of despair, which bears the name ‘resignation.’)

kotae wa mou suteta hazu da
meguri meguru nandome ka
kodoku no yami ga kanousei koroshi
(kiseki nante dare ga iu kanousei koroshi)

I should have already cast the answer aside.
It keeps coming back. How many times has it been?
The darkness of isolation kills possibilities.
(Somebody spoke of a miracle. It kills possibilities.)

utsuro na koe hiza o kakae
namida sae mo kare hatete
“nani mo iranai” sono me ga hiraku
(subete wa uso kidzuite yo sono me ga hiraku)

With a hollow voice, and arms around their knees,
even their tears have dried up.
“I don’t need anything.” They open their eyes.
(Everything is a lie. Notice it! They open their eyes.)

hito o ai suru imi o dareka oshiete hoshii

Somebody, give me a reason to love people.

yugande iru keshiki wa hora
mawaru mawaru kirei da ne
kodoku no yami wa jikan o tometa
(kiseki motome kimi wa ima jikan o tometa)

See? The twisted landscape
is turning round and round. How pretty.
The darkness of isolation stopped time.
(Seeking a miracle, you stopped time.)

utsuro na koe hiza o kakae
sono shisen wa nani o miru?
“mou dou demo ii ya” tobira ga hiraku
(subete wa uso kidzuite yo tobira ga hiraku)

With a hollow voice, and arms around their knees,
what does their gaze see?
“I don’t care anymore.” The door opens.
(All is lies. Notice it! The door opens.)

umareta imi wa dare mo shiranai
sono me ni ishi yadoshi asu e to fumi dase

Nobody knows why they were born.
Determination rests in their eyes. Step forward to tomorrow!

Hello. Thank you for your translation.

    > 不平等に泣くは我らか
    > are we the ones crying unequally?

You seem to have interpreted “に” in a different way than me. I translate it to “are we the ones crying over inequality?”

: take care of the penny; he who makes fun of one sen will cry at one sen

    > 人を愛する意味を誰か教えて欲しい
    > Somebody, give me a reason to love humans.

I prefer “love others” or “love people” to “love humans”. I think “humans” can sound “human species”, which is not the case here.

Hello! Thanks for the suggestions. I agree with both and have updated the translation.

      Stay safe…! (^_^)
