Translation

Purgatory’s red flames illuminated the ground.
The blaze illuminates the world.
I don’t want to know
about the things flooding into the outside world.

God has decided on these rules. If so
are we the ones weeping over inequality?
Love nothingness. O people! This is your grief.
Keep lying, and in doing so turn it to truth.

See? The twisted landscape
is turning round and round. How pretty.
The darkness of isolation stopped time.
(Seeking a miracle, you stopped time.)

With a hollow voice, and arms around their knees,
their gaze knew the sky.
“I don’t need anything.” They closed their eyes.
(All is lies. Notice it! They closed their eyes.)

Swaying, revolving, and fading away.
Tears flow from my closed eyes.

I believed in tomorrow in a dark world.
Someday, those prayers will travel
to the ‘sky’ I dreamed of.

Purgatory’s red flames illuminated the ground.
I called it ‘light.’
I don’t want to know
about the things flooding into the outside world.

God has decided on these rules. If so
(The sky’s light shines on the earth’s depths.)
are we the ones weeping over inequality?
(I am violated by the poison of hope.)
Love nothingness. O people! This is your grief.
(I speak, unable to fully cast aside contradictions.)
Keep lying, and in doing so turn it to truth.
(I speak of despair, which bears the name ‘resignation.’)

I should have already cast the answer aside.
It keeps coming back. How many times has it been?
The darkness of isolation kills possibilities.
(Somebody spoke of a miracle. It kills possibilities.)

With a hollow voice, and arms around their knees,
even their tears have dried up.
“I don’t need anything.” They open their eyes.
(Everything is a lie. Notice it! They open their eyes.)

Somebody, give me a reason to love people.

See? The twisted landscape
is turning round and round. How pretty.
The darkness of isolation stopped time.
(Seeking a miracle, you stopped time.)

With a hollow voice, and arms around their knees,
what does their gaze see?
“I don’t care anymore.” The door opens.
(All is lies. Notice it! The door opens.)

Nobody knows why they were born.
Determination rests in their eyes. Step forward to tomorrow!

Hello. Thank you for your translation.

    > are we the ones crying unequally?

You seem to have interpreted “に” in a different way than me. I translate it to “are we the ones crying over inequality?”

: take care of the penny; he who makes fun of one sen will cry at one sen

    > Somebody, give me a reason to love humans.

I prefer “love others” or “love people” to “love humans”. I think “humans” can sound “human species”, which is not the case here.

Hello! Thanks for the suggestions. I agree with both and have updated the translation.

      Stay safe…! (^_^)
