早すぎては 遠くでぼやけて
移ろう雲に ないものねだり
私の心を過ぎ往く季節

流れるまま生きても
五月雨 集めるようで遅すぎるの
届かない夢追う陽だまりの中

探したから見つけて 探して
ここにいるから
西の夜空 見つめて詠えば
いつかは叶う

Translation

Together with the sound of rain
morning and early afternoon hide the eastern sky.
I didn’t want to be dyed
in such sentiments.
How cruel.

Try and cool down.
If the light is unknown to you
then it lurks secretly in meaningful sighs.
This is cynicism from the indigo sky.

Too quick. Things become dim in the distance.
I ask too much of the changing clouds
and the seasons pass through my heart.

Though I live with the flow
I’m too slow to gather the early-summer rain.
I chase a dream I won’t reach in a sunny spot.

I searched, found, and search again.
Because I’m right here
when you stare at the western night sky and chant
your wish will someday come true.
