Translation

I was given a bouquet
by days that were spun together.
I write down these words
and my fingers trace the second hand gently.

They spoke of eternally blooming flowers
and jewels impervious to damage.
I knew they were deceptions
and the feelings that guided me left me.

I guess back then, the two of us
must have been in love.

I knew it all along. I must have thought something was missing.
I was gazing at my chipped glass and going back over the memories.
I stay there, thinking of you, until dawn breaks.

Things will continue
and I will not wake from this dream.
Yet time passes by
and now I’m just doing okay.

I get used to boredom
and my proof of existence fades.
The amber liquid ripples
and it displays my memories.

They must have been important to me.
I understand that. I get it now.

Because no matter how many years or tomorrows pass
things won’t change.
I reach out my hands, and there I find
memories of you and your warmth.
They’re still there.

From now on, our journey will take us walking wherever we want.
We’ll smell the scent of spring and feel the summer sun.
Each day changes
but the seasons will stay the same. My feelings for you will remain.
We’ll see autumn’s colours and be there under winter’s starry sky.

The words written with my right hand
seem to dance in the sky.
I hope they’ll reach you.
I make my wish beneath the gentle moonlight.

I knew it all along. I must have thought something was missing.
I was gazing at my chipped glass and going back over the memories.
I stay there, thinking of you, until dawn breaks.

We, the lowest of the low, changed course that day.
Even the secrets I wanted to say remain sealed away.
When we raise a toast to our reunion
it’ll be at that place again.

    1. That’s right! I’ve translated the whole album (^_^) I haven’t taken the time to go through all the tracks again, but the vibe I get is that it’s about Renko and Merry, who’ve spent many years apart, looking back over the time they spent together.
