Some thoughts on the titles: 俗 (zoku) can be translated as ‘vulgar’. I felt that, in this case, the thing that was being stressed is the ‘popularity’ of the news rather than its coarseness, which ‘vulgar’ implies. This is why I went with the slightly longer ‘Of the People’.
The album title 拈華微笑 (nenge mishou) refers to communicating from spirit to spirit, or heart to heart, without using words. It literally means ‘holding a flower and smiling’. It’s also the title of a story recounting the origins of Buddhism that has been translated as ‘Flower Sermon.’
For the title of this album I’d go with ‘Heart-to-Heart’ to preserve the idea of communicating without words. Since Satori can read minds I think it’s appropriate.
