Yep. The capitalisation is intentional. Basically, some parts of the original lyrics are written almost entirely in ‘katakana’ [a version of Japanese script that’s mainly used nowdays for emphasis and writing foreign words]. Because Ranko sounds like a robot as she sings these parts, I translated these parts entirely in capitals. Because robots talk in capitals. Or something like that… Once again, I’m amazed at how BUTAOTOME makes the songs off this album work, even though the lyrics are so short…
