A quick note regarding the title: ‘Qualia’ relates to ‘what it’s like’ to experience something, like looking at a colour. At least, that ‘s what my research told me…
I get the feeling that this song is about a girl who’s in a relationship with someone who doesn’t care about her. There appears to be superficiality on both ends; the ‘kindness’ and ‘smiling face’ appear to be fake, so the ‘happiness’ they feel is fake as well.

Translator’s notes
(1) I interpreted this line a bit – my original translation of it [‘I don’t hate this atmosphere, which is like carrying off and stabbing the dead leaves’] sounded a bit stilted, so I changed it. I get the feeling that the speaker is walking outside in winter – though the wind blows leaves into her, she doesn’t hate it, because she feels her inner warmth.
(2) ‘LCD’ (Liquid Crystal Display) is written, but the only thing said is ‘display’.
