kaztora takes another stab at writing lyrics. Like his first time writing lyrics for Shinra-Bansho, they’re cool, but at the same time I have no idea what’s going on. It seems to be a sequel (prequel, perhaps?) to a track from Doppel (Shanghai Butterfly Restaurant), with cats involved once again. A large portion of the first stanza is also written differently in the lyrics booklet – normally, I’d do the whole strikethrough effect, striking out what’s written and replacing it with what’s sung. But since it’s almost an entire stanza, I added it in as a note…

Translator’s notes

(1) The following line is written in the lyrics booklet instead of lines 2 and 3 of this stanza:
The law of the essentials disappeared gently, like a lie. It disappeared with the dew.

(2) 大体 (daitai, generally) is written in the lyrics booklet instead of 若干 (jakkan, somewhat)

(3) よよいのよい (yoyoi no yoi) is a term used in baseball as part of a pattern: “Out!” “Safe!” … “Just safe! (よよいのよい)” By itself, the term has no real meaning.
