Kafka-Fuura translated this track over on his blog, so please check out his translation if you’d like a more accurate/better-sounding version.
This is the first track of the album, but it feels like a final track for some strange reason. Anyway, RD put all of his lyrical might into this track. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s one of the hardest things I’ve translated so far. Whether it’s the almost biblical language used at the start, or whether it’s the abundance of Diao ye zong-isms, it’s just a hard song to ‘get’ in general.
…I shall speak!
Upon my name, we must rule together.
We must rule far and wide, over all of the humans, all of the youkai.
Exert thyself so the illusion will not fall apart.
Write for the sake of the new order.
Within my hands,
Is a fragment
Of the rule of names, known as ‘meaning.’ (1)
I send my prayers
At the beginning
And until the end.
Those words, which flew high to the heavens (2)
Became the rules of play, of everything.
“Continue to the ends of time!”
I declared thus, marking the beginning of the dream.
Why is it
That you proclaim such things
And think about them?
I grasp an ideology in my hands. I put my will into words. (3)
As of yet,
I do not even know
What they look like.
Even so, one day, certainly…
In the near future, we might have an audience with each other somewhere.
The changing world
Possesses a new order.
Now, I affix new rules to those bullet wars, which had no order. (4)
I peek into the future. I have a vision of tomorrow, which I must arrive at.
My sleeve flutters in the wind, and I fly in the sky freely.
Enhancements conflict with the bullets filling the sky. There is nothing I can compare them to.
Competing without aiming to wage war is simply beautiful.
I call it an illusion, without end.
I raise my thoughts, which lost their future, in these hands of mine.
Why is it
That you fight against
Those who proclaim such things?
That, surely, is something that will not change, even in this moment.
So I, too, can play
Whilst the world plays…
Now, I equip and fire a lovely, merciless power
In this paradise, bereft of forgiveness. That is the spell card known as “me.” (5)
I entrust my consciousness to the sky and freely play in the air.
There is nothing I can compare the enjoyment of overcoming all those foolish plans to. (6)
Now, come! Try to strike your meaning against me.
I discovered those meanings, revolving around.
I raise all the power overflowing from my body in my hands.
The mysterious yin-yang ball, always by my side.
Together with these needles, I shall pierce through all of my enemies.
The light of fantasy I fire from myself is strong.
Spread out without end – form groups and seize them!
The duplex barrier will erase boundaries!
Even the nameless power dwelling in me will someday—
My sleeve flutters in the wind, and I fly in the sky forever.
All of those meanings are capable of changing. Yet none of them will ever change.
And thus, though the rules I created will fall apart someday, (7)
Its “time limit” is still long.
Now, I shall declare the first words, as if they will reach the heavens! (8)
