I get a kind of post-apocalyptic/dystopian feel from this track. It’s like the speaker is setting off to find the power to remake the world, following an ancient legend. I really like lyrics that encourage you to dig beneath the surface like that – this song isn’t really that long, but there’s enough implied material in there to tell a really great story! I think the music is great, too. I love the slow buildup. It’s very powerful.

Translation
Light and darkness are passed down
Through the song of the nameless maiden, who still lives even now.
I pursue only the truth hidden beneath her words
And my uninvited footsteps resound through God’s garden. (1)
What would an honest person dream up
If they had the power to change the world?
What would a wicked person dream up
If they had the power to change the world?
Now, something that lies inside everyone
Will be released and will come to life—it is Eden. (2)
What sort of theory is this?
I’m on a journey to explain it and restore the world. (3)
With hopes and promises in my heart,
I laid eyes upon it and touched it for the first time.
Thus, I claimed the truth that lies in God’s garden.
“I can change everything!”
What would an honest person dream up
If they had the power to change the world?
What would a wicked person dream up
If they had the power to change the world?
What does the maiden pass down? Ah.
The power that will change the world must surely be—
Translator’s notes
(1) God’s paradise (神の楽園, kami no rakuen) is written.
(2) The liberated area (解放区, kaihouku) is written.
(3) 帰路 (kiro, on one’s way back) is written. This could change the meaning of the line to ‘I’m on a journey home after explaining it and restoring the world.’
