Translation

Thorns upon the rose; traces of a curse.
I dreamed of seeing you again at last.

I headed deeper and deeper into sleep
and wound up searching for fragments of my memories.

In this world, a dream that isn’t an illusion,
I want you to turn back to me, so…

“I’ll be fine to give you everything once we make our pinky promise.”
I put off all those words, “I love you,” “please,” “I’m in love with you.”

Before our lips touch, I want to say them in my own way.
“I love you,” “please,” “I’m in love with you.” I’ll say them to you.

The castle of thorns; 16 boundary lines.
I act like it’s hard to see through my tears.

In this world, a dream that isn’t an illusion,
I want you to notice my words.

“I’ll be fine to give you everything once we make our pinky promise.”
“I love you,” “please,” “I’m in love with you.” I’ll say them to you.

  1. Hello. Thank you for your translation.

I noticed “head” is in the present tense and “wound” is in the past tense. Is this intended?

    > 「指切りをしてくれたら全部キミにあげてもいいの」
    > “Can I give everything to you once we make our pinky promise?”

I interpret 「の」 in a different way. I translate it to:
“I will give everything to you once we make our pinky promise.”

    1. Thanks again (^_^) With the first point, I was aiming for a continuous feel but looking over it again I realised it’s not consistent so I changed it.

With the second point, I’m so used to seeing it as してもいいですか that I thought てもいいの would be interpreted in the same way. As you say, there’s an interpretation that removes the ‘question’ aspect so I reworded it (^_^)
