I don’t normally put warnings at the start of my translations, but this song is dark. The main theme seems to be abortion/losing (sacrificing) one’s child, so please keep that in mind before reading on.
The lyrics are quite vague this time. Based on the story I think they’re trying to tell, it looks like they need to be. I can see at least two different ways of reading this, but there are probably more out there. Like usual, the underlined words are in quotation marks in the original lyrics. The Diao ye zong-isms are also accompanied by footnotes.
Unofficial translation/非公式の英訳
Where did these things come from?
Perhaps you already know.
Do they look precious?
If so, then you must certainly be pleased with them.
Now, look!
[Evil Sign “Hao Xiaogui”]
It seems that the actions they cause
Are by no means beautiful.
Still,
Those things that they create are things of great beauty.
Obeying nothing at all,
Whilst feeling a desire that will not be appeased, (1)
I chase them, no matter how far, heading over there.
Even now
That figure begs for love
Without hope of satisfaction.
How pitiful. How pitiful…
It seems like your heart is broken.
Now,
I’ll take all that tenacity (2)
And I’ll be there watching
As it transforms
Into what these things lost.
It seems that the logic they bring forth
Is by no means lovely.
Still,
Those things that they create are quite lovely.
I carry a false heartbeat inside me,
Seeking a place to return to…
I feel it moving in me like a foetus, forever, heading over there.
Though they will never
Know the warmth of those hands,
That figure begs for love.
How painful. How painful.
It will just invite tears once more.
Without salvation
The figures of the lifeless ones
Bear only simple honesty. (3)
How beautiful. How beautiful.
I shall raise them to the skies here…
Now,
I’ll take all those delusions (4)
And I’ll be there watching
As they transform
Into what these things should pursue.
