The 失楽 (shitsuraku) in the title could be a shortened version of 失楽園 (shitsurakuen), which literally means ‘lost paradise’ but is also the Japanese translation of the book ‘Paradise Lost.’ Pleasure is used instead of paradise because 楽 is used instead of 楽園.
ペトリ (petori) could be referring to a petri dish.
