In programming speak, an exception is an event that interrupts the flow of a program (it’s short for ‘exceptional event). Or at least, that’s what Java says. The subtitle of this track is いのちのうた (inochi no uta, Song of Life).
The booklet shows a kind of electronic figure alongside some images depicting a girl with a daisy in her hair talking to the electronic figure, and a scene of the girl with a daisy in her hair running away from a group of people in lab coats. My assumption is that this song is sung from the perspective of the electronic figure, though that might not necessarily be the case. It could swap between the two characters.
This track actually needs lots of translation notes because, like usual, RD has included a bunch of things that either aren’t written in the booklet, or are sung differently to how they’re written. As a general rule, the Japanese translations of the words used in the [param definition:] parts are sung.

Your words, (1)
Your heart… (2)
Everything I learned from you is here.
Though it is slightly mysterious and sad, this song of life is strong. (3)
Daisy. Daisy. Can you hear me?
These are my final moments.
I only have a few minutes. After that, my words won’t reach you.
Daisy. Daisy. Can you hear me?
Please forgive me.
Even you must have known it was useless.
Your eyes, filled with [param definition:rage].
[object_definition:tears], streaming down your cheeks.
I suppose I lost you while you were in that state…
Daisy. Daisy. I know.
Perhaps what you wished for
was to run far away with me.
It might mean
roaming the endless darkness
upon a small vessel.
Still…
By your side
I executed those processes
and I knew somewhere deep down that I mustn’t be with you. Daisy…
Daisy. Daisy. You know.
Since I met you
you taught me everything.
Daisy. Daisy. Do you understand?
You raised a heart:
My [param_definition:undefined], which was born from you. (4)
It feels like yesterday
when you, still so young, peeped into me.
Even so…
Being by your side
and by executing those process forever…
I felt that if I did that, you would always be alone. Daisy.
Now,
How much [param_definition:grief] do you feel? I can tell, quite clearly.
And that is exactly why
I cannot bear to be alone in a world without you.
Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer do
I’m half crazy
All for the love of you… (5)
I think it’s strange that such a landscape would be visible to me.
Even so, if I bear ‘life’ then perhaps I should call it a vessel of ego…
By your side
exception handling betrayed everything. (6)
Even if we are separated, I hope you at least will continue to live, Daisy…
You were my teacher. My older sister. My mother.
You, the one who gave birth to me, were my alter ego.
Daisy…
